Originally from the East Coast, Julian is currently living in Long Beach, CA – a place with lots of friends to meet up with and skate. It’s obvious he’s been taking full advantage of the great West Coast weather and filming non-stop. Julian had the opening part in Foundation’s Star & Moon, and followed that up with the heavy closing part in the latest Foundation Splendor video. Etnies proudly welcomes Julian Lewis to the team!
10 years of the etnies Marana with Ryan Sheckler and Chris Joslin
In 2012, etnies launched the Marana with Ryan Sheckler, inspired by the goal of creating the longest lasting skateboard shoe. Today etnies celebrates 10 years of the shoe Ryan describes as timeless with a video and four limited-edition colorways of the Marana OG.
The Marana was designed piece-by-piece to blend strength, style, and high-impact cushioning. Sheckler says his adult years of trial and error in skateboarding and life have been lived in this shoe. SPoT OG’s Brian Schaefer and Paul Zitzer made it out to Paris to support Etnies and the Far N’ High crew for their 14th Pro/Am Contest that took place May 12-15, 2022. etnies proudly welcomes Aurelien Giraud to the skate team. etnies and Aurelien were both born in France and after skating with the etnies team during the Paris Conquest contest last summer, Aurelien’s connection to etnies grew.

Etnies Presents Nassim Lachhab in Créteil, Paris
Etnies is proud to launch a signature Windrow colorway for Morocco’s first pro skater Nassim Lachhab. The video project to launch his Signature etnies Windrow colorway (black/white/gum) was his take on the iconic Créteil Plaza in the suburbs of Paris.

RIDE THE TAO: etnies China Tour
Nanjing, Xi’an and Changsha, China featuring Chris Joslin, Nick Garcia, Ryan Lay, Barney Page, and Trevor McClung.
After a 14-hour flight over the Pacific en route to China, the etnies team finally arrived in Nanjing to meet their trusty guides. The crew immediately embarked upon the streets to skate China’s infamous marble landscape in skate spot heaven. The days were filled with jam-packed demos (thanks to the locals!), dodging the rain, Chinese food every night, meat markets, sightseeing Xi’an’s Terracotta Army and tuk tuks whisking us from to and fro. At the end of the day, nobody dared to try the chicken feet, but Barney did, unsurprisingly, lose his phone. Watch the 15-minute video as it takes you on the team’s journey through China!
