Quim Cardona’s 47th Birthday at The Brooklyn Banks – Clearly Faded

This weekend the Clearly Faded crew got to celebrate the 47th birthday of a true East Coast legend—Quim Cardona. The Cardona brothers helped write the history of the Brooklyn Banks in the early 90s, bringing style, finesse, and energy that shaped generations of skaters in New York City and beyond.

We don’t wait until our legends are gone to honor them—we give them their flowers while they’re here, and Quim earned his.

The celebration was real: Jeremiah came up from Atlantic City, Chris Landry pulled through, Clearly Faded captain Jay Klotz was in the mix, Eli repped from Staten Island, and TJ from Philly—better known as Old Dirty Bastard in Hulu’s Wu-Tang series, our brother TJ Atoms—joined the session.

Moments like this are why we do what we do. Skateboarding isn’t just about tricks, it’s about culture, community, and honoring those who paved the way.

To keep that energy alive, our new Clearly Faded skateboards are officially available in 8.25 and 8.5—built for the streets, built for the culture, and built to keep this legacy rolling. Grab yours now on the website and ride with us
