The Real Team tackled terrain varying from front yards, back alleys, school zones, college quads, to Tony Hawk’s Million Dollar private vert ramp for their Red Bull No Rewind video entry. They’re known for leaving spots in shambles, and this edit is right in step with what you’d expect from this eclectic squad. Proper shout out to Jesus Fernandez in there as well. Tanner Vanvark | Red Bull SŌLUS 2021 Entry
Ryan Sheckler has once again opened the doors to his skatepark and invited 17 of the world’s most well-rounded skateboarders to battle it out in year two of Red Bull SŌLUS. Each skater has one hour to put together their best line at The Sandlot; no crowd, no other skaters, no distractions – just an internal battle to get the best line possible. Here is Tanner’s run.
Tanner is a fresh face in the pro skateboard world, but has already made a huge impact with his powerful skating and original takes on classic tricks like wallie Barley grinds and Switch Bennett grinds. That creativity could be the difference maker in this type of contest. Tanner skates for Vans, REAL, Spitfire, 3rd Lair, Independent, Bronson, and MOB.
Judges Vanessa Torres, Mike Sinclair, and Jason Rothmeyer will evaluate each video based on style, progression and creativity. Winner will be announced October 17th.
Following the judges announcement, you will have a chance to vote on your favorite video part and the fan favorite will be announced on October 20th.
