JOSH STEWART RAW TAPES: THE AMAZON

In 2010 Josh Stewart was invited on an insane skate trip for Skateboarder Magazine; 10 days sailing up the Amazon river skating/filming at spots along the way. The crew consisted of Jake Johnson, Kenny Anderson, Raymond Molinar, Joey Pepper, Adelmo Jr, Jack Sabback, Clint Peterson and organized by photographer Johnathan Mehring. Starting in Belem, at the mouth of the Amazon and finishing up in the city of Manaus, the crew battled Pirhanas, swam with river dolphins, crashed a native ayahuasca ceremony, hung around with sloths and miraculously discovered some solid skate spots along the way. This trip was incredible and although Josh edited a 10 part documentary series on this trip for Skateboarder, this edit is a compilation of a bunch of raw footage and unseen angles from the trip that captures the vibe of the whole trip really well. So press play and enjoy a sweaty jungle experience on 4 wheels.
