The Monster Energy skate team traveled down South for the 1st ever #BOWLZILLA event in Chile. The Bowlzilla crew laid down a new concrete bowl just for the big weekend. The event saw legends like Tony Hawk , Steve Caballero , and Kevin Staab competing in the masters category, while on the pro side there was a HUGE turnout with over 30 pros in the mix for the win. In the end Murilo Peres took home the biggest check with Monster Energy’s Tom Schaar grabbing the second spot. The Chilean fans kept the energy high all day, and everyone agreed they were looking forward to coming back next year.

Tony had an idea of creating a Helix shaped ramp that could be skated from top to bottom and he was excited but also a little nervous. To make it all the way around and out, he needed a combination of the right speed, centrifugal force and friction to keep him on the vertical wall.
