102 Skateboard Tricks In A Row By Ryan Lay – CCS
When we were recently hanging out with CCS pro, Ryan Lay, we were watching him do these marathon lines at his local park where he would lane 30-40 tricks in a row. After some ridiculous brainstorming, Ryan was confident that he may be able to do 100 tricks in a row without getting off his board. Of course we called him on this claim and demanded him to make it a reality. Literally two days later he sent us this clip. A 15 minute nonstop single line with 102 tricks in it. To make it harder he tried not to repeat any tricks on any obstacles. What a psycho! If you wanna be a psycho too, we recommend picking up his pro model skateboard from Welcome at CCS.com. You will not regret it! – CCS
Commit Or Quit! – Ornamental Conifer – Element Skateboards
Ornamental Conifer is an artist whose background started painting trains & walls, until he discovered his skill in sign writing style which would propel him from his home turf in London to residing in LA, showing at art galleries globally and consulting for some if the biggest global brands.
It is about commitment, using ‘One Shot’ paint, a sign writer, when applying that precision on surfaces such as glass, you have one shot! Like skateboarding, it takes real commitment to make that trick. The geometric shapes demonstrate that precision in hand painting with zero error which a takes a huge amount of commitment.
The lines are faultless, so, commit or quit!

The Making of Moat Water Beer and Skateboard Decks
On Saturday, January 19th, 2012 at 6pm, we held the Moat Water 20 Year Anniversary Deck Release Party at SPoT Ybor (R.I.P.) and The Bricks. These boards were created through a unique partnership involving Tampa, Florida natives Cigar City Brewing, Skatepark of Tampa, and PS Stix, along with a graphic designed by skateboarding legend Lance Mountain. The center ply was brewed in the aging process to produce SPoT’s exclusive 20th Anniversary beer, “Moat Water,” prior to PS Stix inserting it into these decks. It’s a collaboration that represents quality, a vested interest in the Tampa community, and most importantly, the love of skateboarding. Check the full story in this video. We had 50 of these available for purchase at the Release Party with a limit of one per customer and they sold out quickly.

In particular, a group of local kids have picked up skateboarding for the first time and have made the skatepark their second home. This is a story about that community and the power of skateboarding.
