The Tony Hawk Foundation has been building skateparks in communities for years and they just threw threw their Sand Up For Skateparks event with Tony Hawk, Lizzie Armanto, Tom Schaar, Kevin Staab, Coco Zurita, Simon Tabron, Andy Macdonald, Lincoln Ueda and Elliot Sloane.

Canoga Park, CA – A Skatepark Success Story
In 2011, the Tony Hawk Foundation connected with youth in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Canoga Park to promote and fundraise for a skatepark in their community. in 2015, Tony Hawk and the Birdhouse Skateboards team were there to help the local skaters inaugurate their new Lanark Skate Plaza.
DC SHOES: HAROLD HUNTER DAY IX
On Sunday, October 4th DC joined the New York skate community at the Coleman LES park to honor the life of a legend at the 9th annual Harold Hunter Day. DC’s Wes Kremer, Evan Smith, Cyril Jackson, and Tristan Funkhouser were on hand to skate, give out cash for tricks down the double set, and have an all around good time.
Help Salamander Ranch
In June of 2010, at a very ‘top secret’ and ‘highly classified’ location of Southern California, Eric Peters, aka my big bro, aka The Salamander, began a small project to keep him busy while an injury kept him from his one, true love, skateboarding. The Sheckler Foundation Presents Its 4th Be the Change Recipient, Hope for Carter
The Sheckler Foundation is proud to announce Hope for Carter as the fourth “Be the Change” recipient. Carter is a 12-year-old boy who suffers from a rare form of Eczema and Asperger syndrome. As one of the finalists, Carter chose to pay it forward by sharing half of his grant with Taylor, a fellow nominee who was involved in an unfortunate accident. This is the first-time in “Be the Change” history that a recipient has shared the financial grant with a fellow nominee.
R.I.P Tomas Montas aka BIM BIM
Tomas was tragicly lost suddenly Monday May 4, 2015 in a car accident. He leaves behind a community of family and friends who loved him dearly. Tomas touched so many lives, he was such a happy caring person, always smiling and full of life, taken too soon from us. No mother should ever feel the pain of losing her child.
