Element Make It Count Chicago / Denver
The Element Make It Count Contest home-stretch was in full swing, as skatepark locals put their bodies on the line to win their respected stops. Once the carnage was clear Element selected finalists from Chicago and Denver, rewarding them with a free-trip to the North America Finals at Element YMCA Skate Camp to compete for an all-expenses paid trip to the Global Finals in Barcelona, Spain.

Gage Seal Memorial Skate Jam
In memoriam for Gage Seal, an avid skateboarder killed last year, friends and family gathered at the Audie Murphy Skatepark in Menifee, California for fun, food and ripping skateboarding to raise money for a Gage Seal Memorial Skatepark. Local skaters Jordan Hoffart, Taylor Bingaman, Taylor McClung, David Gravette and Ryan Alvero came to skate and show their support.

Vans is celebrating 50 years by taking House of Vans all around the world all year long. We kicked it off on March 16th at House of Vans Brooklyn in New York with Nas, Skate Team Riders Chima Ferguson, Anthony Van Engelen, Daniel Luther, Steve Caballero, and more, plus Vans Surf Team Riders Dane Reynolds, Nathan Fletcher, and Leila Hurst. Vans has been a household name in skateboarding since the beginning and they’re still going strong after 50 years. To celebrate their birthday last week, SPoT threw a proper mixer with free skating all day, BBQ, free cake, free waffles, giveaways to the first 50 customers and more.

Last Friday, Vincent Alvarez’s friends/teammates met at Griffith Park to celebrate the release of his second pro model, the Lakai VA2.
