If there’s one thing we know about CCS team rider, Aaron “Jaws” Homoki, it’s that he likes to do shit that seems impossible to anyone else. After jumping down 210 stairs in one day a couple years back, he wasn’t sure how he could one up himself. His 30th birthday lit up one of hell of a light bulb when he got the crazy idea to try and hit 30 skateparks in one day. CCS started at 6am and went non stop until 10pm, but by the grace of Jaws we made it! The cherry on top was a Kickflip Melon (or two) at each park. Enjoy this crazy feat of human endurance from everyone’s favorite superhero! Happy Birthday Jaws!
Adidas Matchbreak Super 17 Man Ultra Wear Test
In case you were wondering, almost every single person that touches your orders at CCS also rides a skateboard. When Adidas invited CCS to their park in Portland to wear test their newest shoe, The Matchbreak Super, CCS was rolling almost 20 deep, leave no one behind! The CCS crew put a hurting on these shoes and skated their asses off for over three hours on some of the smoothest concrete in Oregon. CCS Welcomes Fabiana Delfino To The Team
Fabiana Delfino skates fast, slams, films amazing parts and does it all with a smile. Fabi is the pure embodiment of skateboarding, and CCS couldn’t be happier to have her as their newest addition to the CCS team. Fellow CCS team rider, Aaron “Jaws” Homoki brings Fabi in with a little bit of his signature mouth harping, haha.
Ridiculous Skateboards At Skate And Imaginate With Orange Man And Gnardo
If you’re not familiar with Orange Man AKA Abe Dubin, then you must hate fun. Abe rides for the wonderfully whacky, Fancy Lad skateboards and is a wizard with a jigsaw and wheels. He has built/modified every type of skateboard known to man and skated impossible spots with his custom creations. Abe teamed up with his pal, Gnardo to spread the word of insane creativity and building your own wild shit. Check out what they came up with at their event in Seattle last month.
260 Lbs.VS. 100 Stairs: The Santa Cruz Unbreakable VX Skateboard Deck Wear Test
When CCS heard Santa Cruz had made a nearly unbreakable skateboard deck they knew that their resident board breaker, Matt Price had to put it to the test. Since he hadn’t skated off more than a curb in a few years, CCS thought it would be fitting to have him Ollie 100 stairs on one of the new VX decks. Even in three stair increments, this was no easy feat on the knees, or the board. These things really live up to the hype though. Watch the vid then pick one up at CCS.com!
Mini Brooklyn Bumps Skateboard Contest Presented By Adidas and CCS
CCS teamed up with Adidas to create the 3rd annual mini spot at the Portland OR CCS shop, and this one was a banger. CCS pulled together a few of the most iconic obstacles from The Brooklyn Banks in NYC and mashed them up into what they called The Brooklyn Bumps. The list of invited skaters was heavy and the contest went off! Also the thousands of people in attendance got broke off with bags of product from our carnival village. All in all it was their best event yet!
Nyjah Huston 100 Kickflips In The Nike SB Nyjah Free – CCS
CCS has been trying to get Nyjah on the 100 Kickflip challenge forever, because they knew it would not be a challenge at all. Sure enough he banged out 100 in less than 20 minutes total, and only missed about 2 or 3. That’s not even the crazy part. The craziest part is that his shoe, the Nike SB Nyjah Free barely even broke a sweat let alone ripped a lace. See how this superhuman shoe held up to superhuman skating and then pick up a pair today at CCS.com!
Unity Skateboarding West Coast Tour – CCS

30 Days In A Row In The Same Brixton Jeans – CCS
When Brixton came out with their line of denim, we figured they would be tough. Since Brixton creates products with skating, motorcycles, camping and music in mind, whatever they make has to be able to get the shit beat out of it. To proper beat the shit out of a pair we grabbed CCS warehouse employee, ripping skater, and van enthusiast, Noah Staller and tossed him in a pair of new denim and told him he couldn’t take them off for 30 days. Noah lives in the CCS parking lot, so he spends most of his time working, skating, or hanging outside. We knew he would give these pants hell. See how they held up and then grab a pair for yourself at CCS.com!
