DC China is excited to drop Guo Junbin’s (aka Smile) newest skate edit. Smile spent the past year filming across Bangkok, Thailand, and Changsha, Foshan, and Guangzhou, China, stacking footage that showcases his style, progression, and creativity in the streets. The new edit puts a spotlight on one of China’s standout skaters and the energy he continues to bring to DC Shoes.

For the second episode of “The Plaza Project”, we’re heading to Lyon and the iconic Place Louis Pradel, better known to the local skate scene as “HDV”, short for Hôtel de Ville.
A true landmark in the city, HDV holds a deep place in Lyon’s skate history, shaped over the years by brands like Cliché Skateboards and Antiz, skaters such as JB Gillet and many more, as well as photographers like Fred Mortagne and Loïc Benoit.
Today, the spot brings everyone together, creating a unique atmosphere for sessions from day to night.

DC Skateboarding Presents: Marseille It Ain’t So

The DEEP REST TOUR Video – DC Shoes
THE DEEP REST TOUR is the natural continuity of John’s mission to shine a light on suicide and mental health awareness within the skate community, started in 2021 with his documentary This Too Shall Pass.
In it, John opens up about his own mental health struggles and experiencing suicidal thoughts. John talks about how he uses meditation, breathing, and skateboarding to help deal with depression.
In spring 2023, John is coming to Europe with DCSHOES European riders to meet with the skate community in France, Spain and, the U.K to share his own experience and give tools and tips to help manage mental health.
