Lakai’s newest model, The Villa, was designed, tested and approved by Cody Chapman. A hi-top cupsole with a “less is more approach”, built to be simplistic yet durable and responsive. Custom artwork by Cody, along with his “Cold Dawg” branding top of this new style worthy of the Lakai archive.

On This Day in Crailtap History (Oct. 20-21, 2007) the Lakai crew set out to an abandoned lot on the outskirts of Downtown LA to film the intro for Fully Flared. Lakai dug into the archives and put together a raw behind the scenes cut of the day!
LAKAI’s friend Nathaniel Russell shows his artist collection and explains the concept behind it. The entire collection features custom colorways of the Telford Low, Manchester, and Owen VLK, along with a full apparel line and skate wax.
Vincent built the spot, skated it, edited his footage, and recorded the music for this part. A true DIY skater.

It’s official, Kyonosuke Yamashita is on Lakai. Kyo has been skating flow for Lakai in Japan since he was a little kid. In 2018 they took a trip to Tokyo, and at the age of 13 he skated a demo. Fast forward 4 years, and they are stoked to officially welcome him to the family. Keep your eyes peeled for lots more to come from young Kyonosuke.
