Cairo Foster “Hammerhead” Actions REALized

When REAL first asked Cairo Foster what he thought about doing a re-issue of his ‘Hammerhead’ graphic he suggested making it an Actions REALized with a portion of the proceeds going directly to The Ben Raemers Foundation to continue their work for suicide prevention and mental health advocacy in skateboarding and beyond.

Jordyn, Part Two presented by Toyota USA

Team Toyota athlete Jordyn Barratt grew up in Hawaii skating at Banzai Skatepark. There weren’t any other little girls skating at the park when Jordyn first began. At around 14 years old, Jordyn moved to California and realized there were more skaters just like her. But as she started to compete against some of the girls, she looked up to the competition grew fierce. Gnarly. Some of the older girls were pretty mean, an experience that Jordyn vowed to change for the future girls of skating. It’s not like that anymore, according to Jordyn, partially due to the expanded contest circuit, which has allowed a little more room for everyone to grow. She knows what it’s like to get picked on, so she’s made it a point to make any girls who are coming up feel welcome—the more, the merrier, in her opinion.

How Eric Dressen Met World Champion Misugu Okamoto! What I’m Riding | Santa Cruz Skateboards

If there is one thing we are certain of, it’s that Eric Dressen knows skateboarding. He turned pro in 1987 for DogTown Skates, and became one of the biggest names in legendary style, Dressen has acquired a fine taste in skateboarding. When Eric first met Misugu, he had guessed she was on the Santa Cruz International team from all of her SC gear. When Eric learned Misugu was buying it all, he immediately called SC Brand Manager Andrew Cannon and Ricta Brand Manager Steven Troullos to make some calls and get Misugu properly hooked up! Misugu has since gone on to become a World Champion winning eight titles IN A ROW! Join Misugu and Eric D as they tell their tale of blossoming friendship, epic skateboarding, and lending a helping hand.

PREMIERE: Rubi Anda’s “Youth Manifesto” Part – JENKEM MAG

With the help of filmer and editor, Joy Suryawan, over the last two years, Rubi was able to drop five minutes of footage despite the brutal humidity of Indonesia, the foot and car traffic of Jakarta, and the stringent security guards at their local spots. Rubi doesn’t have a training facility like some of the other skaters representing Asian countries in the Olympics, he was still able to produce something much more watchable than the skating going on in the stadiums of Tokyo. – JENKEM
